We don’t just “source” developers; we attract elite talent through a reputation built over two decades.

The core of our sourcing strategy is my 20 years of personal programming experience and 15 years of industry experience. Having worked as a framework writer, besides being a dedicated software engineer, I’ve built a reputation that gives us a “ripple effect” advantage. When we reach out to developers – especially in the Asian talent pool – they are far more likely to choose us over competitors. This is Step One. Once they express interest, every candidate goes through a rigorous five-to-six-stage assessment process. This process is designed to pick out  the top 3-5% of truly great talents from the pool. That’s the short version of how we build a superior team. We can provide details about our talent validation process if anyone requests it.

Our true strength is not just in what languages we use, but in how we balance and trade off to deliver the absolute best architecture.

Our average experience level is two to three years, which is the sweet spot for efficiency and growth in the software engineering lifecycle. However, my personal favorite engineers – the ones who are truly the best in their field – are in Tier 3 with seven to ten years of experience. When it comes to tech stacks, while most people are opting for Python nowadays, our top technical choices for new development are Rust, .NET, or Java. Rust is simply extremely fast. While I am a seasoned Golang developer (I’ve written a million-line open-source ecosystem in Go), I’d still pick Rust over Go for performance when simplicity isn’t the only goal. Similarly, Java and .NET bring decades of enterprise utility to the table, ensuring robust, well-architected applications. Even with microservices—where you can be language-agnostic—95% of the time teams end up with a similar language stack. This is where we come in: we make sure our engineers understand that no single language is a “silver bullet.” We evaluate our clients’ requirements and leverage the best parts of each stack to achieve the “best of both worlds.” This unique ability to understand and manage engineering trade-offs is what makes us a partner in growth for our clients and not just another vendor.

You get direct access to our senior talent, or you can leverage our secret weapon: Tier 1 engineers cloned with our combined experience, including my 15 years in the industry.

Yes, absolutely, if you are looking for Tier 2 or Tier 3 engineers. For our Tier 1 engineers (those with one-plus years of experience), we ask for 10 to 25 days to train them, depending on the tech requirement of the client. During this phase, we actively work to supercharge our engineers, which we term as cloning —train them with our combined expertise and experience, including my 15 years of deep experience. This process typically achieves a 60% to 70% skill clone, giving them the capabilities of a two-to-three-year veteran. While we make sure they have Tier 2 support in needed, they are exceptionally effective. For instance, we had a Tier 1 engineer start on an AI-based beta application earlier this year—a technology he had never touched before. He successfully learned, researched, and deployed a successful beta version. We stand by their capabilities.

While we don’t mind working on easy targets such as AI chatbots, we love to position ourselves to solve unique problems and complex challenges.

To be brutally honest, we like to deliver more value to our clients than what a chatbot can provide.. We always try to align with our clients’ vision and mission and focus on solving their challenges—the ones that bring the most value and give our clients a true competitive edge. For example, while there’s a common desire for a lot to create an Uber or Netflix clone (which is not too difficult), I’d be more interested in a Chrome browser clone. Why? Because it’s a massive challenge with competitors like Microsoft and Apple. We love those challenges. Chatbot development falls into our “easy-peasy” category, and we like to go beyond that always.
