Cancellation policy

This Cancellation Policy explains how you can pause or cancel services with Riseup Asia LLC. It applies to all monthly and project-based engagements unless your Master Service Agreement says otherwise.

Monthly engagements

Most Riseup Asia engagements run on a rolling monthly basis. Either party may cancel with 30 days’ written notice. The notice period starts on the date we receive written notice by email.

Project-based engagements

Fixed-scope projects may be cancelled before kickoff for a full refund of any pre-paid deposit. After kickoff, work completed and expenses incurred up to the cancellation date are billed; any remaining pre-paid amount is refunded within 14 business days.

Offboarding

On cancellation, we transfer repositories, documentation and access credentials back to you. Engineers sign any reasonable offboarding checklist you provide, subject to confidentiality obligations in the MSA.

Replacement guarantee

If an engineer is not the right fit, we will replace them at no extra cost before you need to cancel the engagement. Replacements are usually completed within a few business days because the bench is already vetted.
